SHORT DESCRIPTION
Hydrogeological study for the springs (spas), and the non-thermal aquifers, in the region of Therma, Ikaria, Aegean island, Greece. Determination of the chemistry, the catchments, the mixing conditions between the two fluids, and the pressures that affect the natural environment in the area, along with the impacts resulted.
In addition, study of the geological - geotechnical properties of the area and its suitability for urbanization (expansion of the village residential area), while ensuring the spas outflow (Definition of protection zones for the springs).
