SHORT DESCRIPTION

Consultant in hydrogeology and water supply of the greatest tourist facility (budget 1.2 billion €) ever designed in Greece. The facility designed in the region of Cavo Sidero Peninsula in Eastern Crete, covering an area of 25,000 acres. The plan included six tourist villages with capacity of 7,000 beds in hotels, apartments and tourist villas, 3 golf courses of international standards, conference center with room for multiple potential capacity of 1200 delegates and a modern sports center with football pitches, basketball and volleyball.
Among the topics of the services was the implementation of the water supply of the complex, the improvement of the Palekastro Municipality water needs for drinking and irrigation water, and the preservation of the famous Vai Palms Forest and the whole area of the project, which is an area under protection according to the NATURA 2000 Convention.
